good pc getting bad fps in games

my pc is a good spec and i seem to be getting bad fps in games please can somebody help😀

my pc specs are:

AMD RYZEN 9 3900x

NVIDIA RTX 3090

ASUS ROG STRIX X570-E MOTHERBOARD

TOUGHRAM RGB 64GB (2x32GB) DDR4 3600MHz C18

Have you installed Nvidia drivers through GeForce Experience? 

Main PC:

AMD Ryzen 7 5800X • Noctua NH-D15 • MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk • 2x8GB G.skill Trident Z Neo 3600MHz CL16 • MSI VENTUS 3X GeForce RTX 3070 OC • Samsung 970 Evo 1TB • Samsung 860 Evo 1TB • Cosair iCUE 465X RGB • Corsair RMx 750W (White)

 

Peripherals/Other:

ASUS VG27AQ • G PRO K/DA • G502 Hero K/DA • G733 K/DA • G840 K/DA • Oculus Quest 2 • Nintendo Switch (Rev. 2)

What exactly do you mean by "bad fps"? What games? What is the frame rate, and at what resolution? Are temps okay?

Can you clarify exactly what kind of performance you're getting, and at what settings? It could be microstutter, or other oddities, rather than just low fps.

games are

forza horison 4 on ultra 35-40fps

cyberpunk on ultra with ray tracing 30-37fps

minecraft on high 20-60fps

fallout 4 at 40fps

and temps are around 55c for cpu

and 60-70 ish for gpu

and resolution is 3440x1440 on ultrawide monitor

sorry but im not amazing with computers as this is my first build 😅

These aren't that surprising. Forza is a massive world with a lot to load. Cyberpunk is....something... How much do frames go up if you turn RTX off? RTX kills performance.

in minecraft theres normally about 50-60 mods and the ram is dual channel

With rtx off performance does increase up to about 80-90fps but I thought with an rtx 3090 being a little overkill it wouldn't make that much difference during gameplay
