I use adobe media encoder, but I'm not sure if you can legally get it for free.

My System Specs: (Short list) i7 4770k, GTX 780, many SSD's, a 2 TB HDD(deceased :( ), Corsair 650D. Full list: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/kchriz6097/saved/8dh7YJ

Upgrade Plan: Acquire some Black Noctuas then add 16 or 32GB of 2133MHz memory

Freemake

This ^. Although I would probably go the Handbrake route @lyncblaze because it's pretty damn good. I use it for all my video transcoding needs. Tis an awesome program.

ON A 7 MONTH BREAK FROM THESE LTT FORUMS. WILL BE BACK ON NOVEMBER 5th.

Freemake has a nicer interface though, last I recall. Haven't used Handbrake in some time now.
