PS4 - Screen goes black for a second

Pretty much since I bought my PS4 a two to three years ago, I've had an issue where my screen goes black for a second or two, and sound cuts out for the moment too, then its fine.  It only happens once at some point after I start the console, several minutes in, and then it never happens again.  I got PSVR as well and the issue used to only happen on the TV, but eventually when it happened, it would affect the PSVR for a second as well.  I've never found any help relating to this issue as anything I find always talks about regular screen flickering, which isn't my problem.  I've just lived with the issue because although annoying, it doesn't usually impact me unless it happens during a cinnematic in which I miss out on some dialogue and any action in that moment.

I have tried swapping out HDMI cables but it didn't make a difference, and I don't have any issues with any other consoles I use on the TV.  I'm not sure what other troubleshooting there is for this.  Anyone have any ideas?

My guess would be the HDMI controller, it's a fairly common failure point on the PS4. Not really something you could fix with joe schmoe tools.
