[Help] Stuck MOBO screw

Trying to take a screw out of my motherboard, but the screw just keeps spinning??

Is it the screw that's spinning, or is the whole standoff stripped? If the standoff and screw are stuck tightly together and the standoff is spinning, lift the board out of the case with the standoff attached, then use a socket the same size as the standoff to hold it in place while you gently but firmly rotate the screw loose from it. Then replace the standoff and screw before reinstalling.

 

If it's the screw that won't pull it, just slide a fingernail very carefully under the lip of the screw and apply a ridiculously gentle bit of upward force while loosening the screw. It'll pop right off.
