My Radeon RX 580 XXX runs  v e r y  hot (85+ while playing Sea of Thieves or Cold War) and I don't know what to do to help it. I just tried undervolting, but even the slightest reduce in voltage made games run choppy and didn't help all that much with my thermals. Did I do it wrong? Should I add another fan? If so, intake or exhaust? I currently have two intake and two exhaust fans.

Specs

GPU: XFX Radeon RX 580 XXX

The MB320L Isn't that great of a case. Temps look a little high but not horrible for the circumstance.

I am NOT a professional and a lot of the time what I'm saying is based on limited knowledge and experience. I'm going to be incorrect at times.

open up your side panel while it's running, see if temps drop by a lot

could be insufficient case airflow if it drops a lot

When I do that, it reduces temps by like 3-5 degrees. I'd rather not have to take the panel off constantly.

just for a test, not telling you to do it permanently

well 3-5c drop is fine, meaning the case airflow isnt that bad

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

That's high, but not terrible.

The real question is if it's a blower or not.

That's decent for a blower, bad for a non blower.

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

If I adjusted my fan curve, that would obviously help and just be a bit louder, yeah? Or is there a Max RPM I should try to avoid, or is it safe to run my fans at 2200+ rpm?

I usually have a pretty straight curve with it at 0c =0rpm and 80c= max rpm. But that's my card and your mialagr may vary
