server graphics card

louvas

How well would a Server graphics card work for crypto mining. As well or better than a gaming card with the same memory

It can perform lower than its gaming counterpart because the mining software isn't optimized. There isn't really a point in optimizing the software for server gpus because they are a lot more expensive and no miner whould actually buy them,

What server gpu are you looking at? Normally the cheap ones are old, and slow, and the new fast ones are very expensive, and a 3070/3080/other current gen card is a much better value.

So a k10 is basically gual gtx680s on a card. A bit lower clocked, with more vram and features enabled. These are gonna be slow and inefficient for mining.

1. This card is pretty bad for mining from what i'm seeing.

2. You can't mine eth because the card has 4 dies with 4 gb each (think of 4 graphics cards with 4gb each)
