Video Card Chug noise - Asus Tuf RTX 3070

warlock257

My PC makes this chugging noise, when I first turn it on, but then at seemingly random times after that. (4 seconds into that video, to hear it). I unplugged all the case fans, and replaced the cpu cooler, so I think that's the only piece left with moving parts. Relatively minor problem, but that noise is rather annoying.

Any suggestions?

Maybe a bearing in the fan on the gpu is malfunctioning? That could be one of the issues. When the gpu is under load, and the fan has to speed up, it could cause the fan to make that sound. When you initially boot a pc, it usually drives the fans high, before they calm down.
