What laptop CPU would be closest to an I7 8700 in terms of performance?

Is there a website where I could find such information or do I need to manually go through millions of benchmarks?

I know my question is a bad one since "performance" depends on the application, but I guess I mean "overall" performance

Is this for a new laptop? Probably the 8750hq or the other higher clocked 6 core mobile parts. But don't get that in a new laptop, get a ryzen 5xxx chip or a 10xxx chip.
