Hi guys! So recently my idle and load temps have been going up by quite a bit, it is about 45-50 idle and about 70-75 under load (I have an aio btw) and I have been having a little worse performance when gaming. Also, my aio makes some weird noises when I boot my pc, and the radiator fan has been running extremely loud even after turning fan curve down in bios. I think this is an aio going bad issue, but just wanted some thoughts on it. Thank you in advance!

make sure your AIO doesn't have a big air bubble in the pump, happened to me one time after working inside the pc with it on its side. give it a little shake/turn upside down and stuff. see if that makes the sound go away. Also consider your mounting position per the new GN video

So just making sure, this is correctly mounted right? Don’t mind cable management btw lmao but yeah and I’ll try to move it a little and see if it helps

@MartinAlvarez7

No actually, the rad should be upside down so that the pipes are coming out the bottom. Your config isnt that bad, but can result in air bubbles getting trapped/cycled through to the pump/cpu. Watch the video for more details.

edit: my bad didnt realse it was top mounted the LED aurora borealis was blocking my view lol - that should be fine. doubt its air bubbles then. maybe an actually dead aio..

All those cables all over the place won't help. Can't you do better cable management ?

cable management makes almost no difference for temps, only looks pretty

Surely if there's cables obstructing the airflow intake and outtake then it must affect temps

i was suprised myself
