Hello there!

So, I made another post talking about the PC I'll be building in a few months.
I decided to go with an i7 4770k.
I plan to overclock it to about 4.2Ghz -4.5Ghz if possible.

I really wanted to get an all in one like the H100i, and replace the fans with SP120's High pressure fans

or Noctua fans (hate the color, but I'd love that great performance) or a Kraken x60 (Maybe replacing the

fans to noctuas? not sure..)

Here are my questions...

1. Should I go with an All in one like the H100i or Kraken x60?

2. Should I go with an Air cooler like the Hyper 212 Evo or a mid-size (not gigantic) Noctua cooler

(Just in case I am using an NZXT Phantom 530 case.)

Any suggestions? I'd appreciate the help :)

Cheers guys!

Current Build:

Depends what you're using the system for. 4.5-4.5 ghz is doable with the 212 Evo but is more likely with a slightly beefier air cooler.

Just a heads up: SP120 PE's are really loud.

I'd grab an NHD14... virtually same performance as a h100i, but much quieter.

So you'd say go with either the H100i with Noctua fans or a NHD14?

Depends on what the system is being used for and how important the oc and noise is.

For AIO you should go with the H220 which you can get on the NCIX USA website. I did 10.5hrs of Prime95 on my i5 2500k at 4.3ghz and never got above 65c on the hottest core with the overall average closer to 58c.

I'd go with the air cooler. You may get slightly higher clocks and slightly lower temps, but I would make the trade off for a slightly lower overclock for better temps. Plus I really don't like the look of AIOs...
