I don't want to be annoying in any way,and this might sound like a stupid topic but;

Question: How long will my 1070ti last for 1080p 60fps gaming? 2022,2023?

And a little something I would like to have;

Interesting facts&info you know about 1070&ti's,because i wanna learn more stuff about my GPU.

sure, if you're playing the same game forever

assuming the card doesnt break down of course, which is RNG

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

1. Probably fine for most things, but will struggle with some, depending on how things go. Can't predict the future.

Facts & Info:

10 Series comparison - https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/products/10series/compare/

All series compared - https://www.nvidia.com/en-gb/geforce/graphics-cards/30-series/compare/

Also suggest you swot up on your specific model of GPU, as it might have overclocking present and/or a different power draw from the norm.

That really depends on wich games you intend to play.. Minecraft? you're golden. Microsoft Flight Simulator?? nope. Everything is an in between. Also, depends on level of details you're gonna set. Everything maxed out on ultra nightmare? Medium? an so on..

Low to Medium, and mostly CoD/BF/Doom/Assassins creed games (i dont like flight simulator so i dont really care about that one)

Right now i run CP2077 45-65fps on Medium without any stuttering, 1080p

I think you are perfect if you don't mind low settings on more gpu intensive games such as mfs. I think if you can handle 45 fps, you will be good for at least 2 or so years (considering it does not break down as it eventually will) I think you are good for stuff like beam.ng and crysis.

Just a quick edit: A little overclock would not hurt, considering the case and cooler is fine. A little extra airflow Can never hurt. (I know this well, coming from a ultrabook)

I think if you are just playing in 1080p 60fps it would actually last a while, like 3-5 years If you don’t do dangerous stuff like getting some sort of malware into your 1070.

But still 1070 is an old card and I would advise you to buy a new one for future proofing

I can handle 45 fps, although im disappointed by beamng performance... same performance as my 1050 2gb... 45-50fps all on High

the lowest i would go is everything on low,1080p, antialising enabled (i dont want sharp lego edges)

I am not very familiar with OCing GPUs, I don't wanna risk it since i cant afford a replacement. My case is pretty poopy,i had to cut away a good chunk of the HDD mount panel to fit in the GPU. I have only 2 120mm fans,both are on the CPU heatsink,1 is taking air in,other is shooting it out of the back exhaust. I do not have a frontal 120mm fan since my dust mesh is not on the case anymore,but the GPU goes up to 72c under max load,so i suppose thats fine.

3 years i can believe,but 5 years..not really 😛

as for buying a new card,man,i bought this one 1 month ago and i saved up like 5 months for it..i cant upgrade for the next 1-2 years because financial issues.

72 degrees is pretty cool if I say so myself. Your cooling is prob fine to oc. But maybe pick up a trash gt710 for 5 bucks off ebay and attemp there first. No guarantees tho, each card is different. I think the card is fine how it is, but for beamng try turning down the lighting setting, it sometimes can double your fps in some scenarios.

Ill try doing the beamng thing in like 1 hour from the time of writing this,as for the gt710 thing, i really dont have time to do that right now,im saving up for a new case so every buck matters

i tried,but changing the lightning quality didnt change anything..

i already made 1 thread about it,my CPU is always stuck to 20-30% usage and GPU 40-50%, the game isnt using all resources
