The only recommendation I can personally make for a wireless headset is the Logitech G930. Only $100. Just mind that you're paying for the wireless capability, not the sound quality.

Oh hell, you post that right after I respond. Well, try the Sennheiser PC 360 then. That headset, I can absolutely recommend if you must have a headset.

If its anything like the Vengeance 2000 it has a notorious cracking problem (the side of the headset will crack over time).

That is why the Vengance 2100 exist. This is the main problem that Corsair has addresed with the newer version. Also it just looks waaay better.

Sennheiser HD 518 + Zalman MIC1

 

Where do you clip the Zalman mic to? I got one of those because it was like $7 and was worth a shot. When I clip in onto the cord of my headphones it's not as good as a headset boom and clipping it onto my sweat shirt collar has inconsistent results, but usually better than being on the cord.
