Microphone problem

I have a very specific problem with my microphone, see I want to start Twitch streams but the only microphone I have is from my headset and I can't connect it to my PC, so I found a tutorial for using laptop as mic so I did that and my audio was broken af, like, it sounded like it started picking up all the noise from my room and amplify it by 8x and you could bearly recognize my voice through all that mess, after that I tried using discord audio check on my laptop after getting it back to normal windows audio settings and it souded normal so I have no idea what's happening here and I'm hoping that someone here can help. Thanks in advance! (sorry if my English is bad)
