That cant be right. Are you 100% certain that you replaced your CPU with a different one?

If CPUZ shows the new one and you are not experiencing any other issues I wouldnt bother.

What is your motherboard? Also you can take screenshots using your print screen key on your keyboard.

ive literally never seen this happen before

Another point, make sure you havent changed any settings in BIOS in relation to number of active cores, if you did set it to auto/default.
