From amazon review:

Quote

This PSU was the biggest nightmare I have had in almost 30 years of building my own rigs. I purchased the CX750M and the short version is that it could not power my 3 year old Nvidia GeForce 1060 at load without lock up's or completely rebooting my PC in the middle of a game. After some part swapping and software load testing I finally determined that the GPU had to be plugged into the top connector to get enough amperage to run. I am speculating that there are at least two 12v rails in this unit that power each row of connectors and the amperage is too low to power an aging GPU, 1 SSD, 1 HDD and a DVD drive. No way am I spending this kind of money when to have something this flaky in my PC, so back to Amazon it goes and I will await my new PSU from another manufacturer. I've attached a photo showing the bottom row completely filled which caused the errors, and where I had to move the GPU plug to get it to work. Hopefully this can help someone stuck in a similar situation.

seems like your gpu does not get any power. Change the cable to upper slot like in the pic above.

also your motherboard seems to get power, but it wont power the ram and fans since it cant boot, since you have no power to gpu

Ok so I tried it now and it’s still the same nothing is happening 😭🙏🏻

so is the red still on the gpu? Because that indicates that your gpu is not getting power.

try to plug the cpu power cable in to the gpu and the gpu power cable in to the cpu. it is possible than you plugged the gpu cable in to the cpu etc.

I’ll definitely try the switch a roo tomorrow but all the cables came with the parts there was no extra wires purchased until tomorrow lmao I thought it was cuz my MB wasn’t getting power so I bought a 12 to 8 pin wire that comes tomorrow too 😭😂

12 to 8pin? to what?

anyway either the cable is faulty, gpu is faulty or the psu is faulty or you missed something.

Bro lol this shit been stressing me lol 😭 this is dead my 2nd psu. The first one I bought was faulty and now this one might be as well lol I just honestly gotta laugh a little but hopefully the cable switch fixes it 🙏🏻 (Ps I bought the 12 to 8 pin cuz one of my friends saw the cpu plug in my MB and said I might need a 12 pin for it but I definitely think you’re right about it being the gpu not being powered)

Ok so I just tried switching the cables and the cpu cable won’t go into the gpu but when I plug the gpu wire into the cpu slot it a red light pops up next to the cpu plug, should I just get a new power supply?
