Which cpu is better?

Go to solution Solved by ninjaboyxd629,

just searched that if im going to buy a graphics card im gonna go for athlon if im not gonna buy a graphics card and want to use the integrated instead im gonna go for a10 9700

Hi im going to build a budget pc(i dont want ryzen since i dont need that much)i cant decide which to buy between these two athlon 200ge and a8 9600 the athlon 200ge gives more fps if paired with rx 560 but its integrated graphics is worse than a8 9600 and atlon 200ge have max temp of 95°C but a8 9600 only have 74 °C it doesnt matter what the max temps are i think because im gonna buy a decent cooler anyway and im gonna undervolt the cpu the prices are not important since the a8 9600 is only 7$ more (Both Brand New) the cpu cores of a8 9600 is 4 and athlon only have 2 so thats a big difference i guess? because were in 2021 noone i think uses dual core but the tdp of a8 9600 is 65w and athlon only have 35 but i guess it doesnt matter too since its just small difference for me you can just check the specs here https://www.amd.com/en/products/apu/7th-gen-a8-9600-apu https://www.amd.com/en/products/apu/amd-athlon-200ge just comment down which is better

avoid the a8 avoid it at all costs, avoid avoid avoid, avoid, it uses a outdated architercture, some a12's, CLAIM to be better than a i7, it gets beaten by a 1st gen i7 lga1366, what im trying to say here, get a lga1366 stuff ( maybe dont ) or get the damn athlon

a8 9600 I would say because dual cores are not good anymore. I would go for the a8 9600 if I had to choose also since you don't need the integrated graphics. (edit I looked at some other replies apparently the 9600 is super slow so maybe go for the other option.)

The Athlon 200ge is considerably faster than the A8.

Its basically Ryzen 1st gen VS FX last gen.

15-20% faster per core epeen.  The Athlon will average 3.8 - 4.0ghz overclock, further spanking the A8.

Hope this helps.

which is better if im not gonna buy graphics card?
