Coil Whine

Hello

Whilst playing cookie clicker, Brawlhalla, Minecraft, and watching YouTube my pc started making a extremely loud electrical like buzzing sound coming from the gpu area of the motherboard. I’ve tried searching solutions online but nothing has been really close to my problem. If anyone has any free tech tips or advice, please reply.

If it truly just is coilwhine you've got nothing to worry about.

That in itself isn't damaging.

 

But you need to figure out if it is.

When does it occur? Only under load?

then close it. 

 

Is the sound you are hearing when playing minecraft (and/or any other game) similar to what you hear when you run the benchmark and close it ?  does it come from the same place?
