Holy cow! The Verge collabed with whoever tf took this picture!!

I love clueless media. I'll bet whoever edited the article was probably using a typewriter, with no idea what a computer looked like

My guess is they wanted it that way because there's more going on underneath, and it looks more interesting/appealing than the IHS. So the idea is that people will be more drawn to the article (at least those who don't know any better). A form of clickbait, if you will.
