People  have been telling that I need to replace the thermal paste for my gtx 1080 and so I did but when I replaced it and put the gpu back to my pc when I turned it on and try to login my pc would just restart then when I turn it off to turn it back on my monitor or keyboard or mouse wont turn on  fans also try to move but they try to move back and forth like a jiggle

Just make sure it was reassembled properly/fully I guess

 

try a different PCI-e slot maybe too

You did plug in the power in correct?

How did you get the heatsink/fan off?  Did you clean all the old paste or just paste over it?

okay guys so I fixed it It was a really weird fix but it was fixed. I have a friend on discord that know a lot about PC and so what he told me to do was to plug off the psu cable turn off the switch to the psu and then hold the pc power button for 15sec and then plug in the psu cable and turn on the psu switch and it worked! The problem he said it was having was called a loud boot because whenever I turned it on I
