What do you guys think? Still working on my storage configuration. Not sure whether I should just spend the money and get Blacks. Or maybe Reds? Not sure. I was also wondering if it would really be enough of an improvement to upgrade the Motherboard and CPU to 1150.

Let me know what you think.

Whats your budget exactly? Location? Currency?

Also, that noctua's great... you dont really need an upgrade IMO, atleast sell it on here in classified.

You also dont need 16gb of ram, stay with your current ram

BTW whats the exact use of this build?

You'll almost never need that 5 tb of raid storage.

I would get more of the ram you have now, because you really won't notice a differnce between a higher clocked one and I would look into getting a single 500gb ssd instead of RAID.

honestly I would just upgrade the GPU and leave the build as it is maybe add another ssd, but I think anything else would be a waste of money

No point getting such an expensive cpu cooler for gaming.

Why Raid?

Dominator platinums are a waste of money. Why replace your ram?

Only upgrades you really should make are to the cooling solutions and the graphics card. Maybe an extra SSD for RAID 0. I'd change the motherboard just because my dream computer would not use ASRock.
