Okay but is this motherboard good for the 10600k?

MSI MPG Z490 Gaming Plus

Will work, but there are better (cheaper) options.
Check out this video for reference -

Budget (including currency): 1000$

Country: Hungary, Europe

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Rainbow six, rust, simulators etc.

Other details:
I am planning to upgrade around June this year.

I have got my msi gtx 1070 and 2x8 gb kingston fury rgb ddr4 3466mhz rams and a 650w half-modular 80+ bronze psu and 240gb kingston ssd and an 1tb samsung evo plus nvme and 2tb toshiba hdd which I will keep.
My current config is:
gpu: msi gtx 1070 gaming x
cpu: i5-7500 4 core 4 threads 3.4 base clock 3.8 turbo
psu: 650w zalmann 80+ bronze half modular psu
cooler: stock :c
mobo: Gigabyte Z270x-ultra gaming
case: Zalman z1 neo

ram: 2x8gb kingston 3466mhz fury ddr4 rgb
storage: 240gb kingston ssd, 1tb samsung evo plus nvme, 2tb toshiba hdd
(peripherials: razer huntsman elite keyboard, razer viper ultimate mouse, steelseries quick xxl mouse pad, dual monitors: 27' samsung 144hz 16:9 1080p and 24' 21:9 lg 60hz)

I would upgrade to these:
Case: Be Quiet Pure Base 500
Mobo: Gigabyte Z390 Aorus pro
cpu: i7-9700k
cooler: msi mag 240r AIO
plus storage: 500gb samsung evo plus nvme for windows

Is this configuration good or would you change anything?

AreUSure

You may want to change the PSU. Anyway, Don't go for a 9700K. It's on a dead platform with no HT. Go with a 10600k, or a 5600x. Both have 6 cores, but it has 12 threads, and 6 cores is more than enough for gaming. The 5600x will be a better performer but it's a bit more expensive when found in stock.
