Okay, so, as I mentioned in my first post, I've been having some issues with my PC, it started freezing and disconnecting from my Ethernet conection randomly. I kinda fixed it by disabling XMP in my RAMs, but earlier today, like... About 30 minutes ago, that issue repeated, and when I rebooted my PC, it didn't even power my GPU, so, the first thing I did was to test it in my other PC, it worked fine, actually, I'm writing this using that PC lmao. I've also had some issues before with that B550, just as it didn't recognizing its own Ethernet port, or it doesn't reading an HDD, and now it isn't powering up my GPU, in neither of its PCIe x16 ports, so, I think it is obvious that the mobo is the problem in that system, so, do you guys have any thought on that? Should I go check if I still got some guarantee? If I got, I'd like to pick up another model, but I don't know which should I, I'd like it to have the BIOS already updated for Ryzen 5000 tho ... Thanks guys

Has the board been RMAed?

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

I don't actually know, I still have guarantee, but I'll take it later to the place where I bought it just to get a new one, but I'd like to get a different model, but I don't actually know which, as I said, I'd like it to have the BIOS already updated to Ryzen 5000

There may not be such an animal.  Generally boards that are ryzen 5000 compatible will only sort of work at first.  Enough to get the most current bios into them.  If you aren’t running a new bios it’s understandable that you would have problems.

Actually, I updated the BIOS and everything was working fine, mid January it started to fail, it didn't read any HDD, but okay, I still have an NVMe and SSD. Then, it started to randomly disconnect from wifi and freeze, I started getting worried, but now it doesn't even power up my GPU, as I said, I tried it in another PC with an A320 and its working perfectly, so my only guess is that the issue is my mobo

So do you know it’s the motherboard? Computers are multi step devices and everything has to work in concert.  Sometimes you can tell what part is having a problem by behavior but a lot of times you can’t and the only thing to do is check every part in turn.  It’s highly unusual for devices to fail in that timeframe.  Generally they work or they don’t. When they partially fail, they tend to fail very very quickly or they last until something wears out or is broken.

Well, tbh, I'm not sure if the problem is the mobo, but i think it is, just because, well, just by testing everything in another system, besides the CPU and mobo, worked fine. Maybe the PSU? I don't know, its my first time having these issues 😕
