A lot of potential uses for HW like this.

 

It  can run fully passive, uses very little power and old pci allows using legacy hardware.

I still have intel board with the same CPU, is it as home router for quite a while, then it was replaced, but when whole mess with pandemic happened i dug it up, replaced some caps and now using it as rdp client.

 

With 4 gigs of ram and ssd it is enough for an office pc too, fully passive one, which means dust does not affect it. So will be perfect for dusty environments where frequent maintenance is undesirable.

 

And no, it does not need pci-e x16 or a videocard, in a sense old pci is much more useful here. Built-in GPU is enough for the tasks for which it was built.
