Hello all,

I just recently sent in my EVGA 1070 (normal) for RMA, I got the magic puff of smoke from the card. I was checking the website and looks like they have sent me out a RTX 2070 Super XC card , from what Ive been reading thats a pretty nice upgrade, thoughts from folks on here?

Yes that is a pretty decent bump in performance.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Yeah that's a pretty nice upgrade. You get Ray Tracing support, DLSS, and a better Nvenc encoder.

Awesome to hear the upgrade you got in a RMA. Gives me more ideas to switch to EVGA in the future, although I've never had any issues with MSI cards yet to warrant an RMA.

Yea I wasnt expecting it , My 1070 served me well, even though it was older, would have been fine just getting it back to. But happy about the upgrade for sure!

I like MSI as well, motherboard is MSI on my setup

So hows this card do on overclocking or should be better to leave it as stock since it seems to already have a stock overclock

The card will perform GPU Boost by itself, so overclocking is not really necessary.

MSI motherboards are great, never had any serious problems with them.
