It's a BGA soldered chip, so you won't find "compatible hardware" for it.

 

It's not "anonymous", it's just rare, but I found at least one OEM industrial board with it, so it's not some mystery. It's essentially the same as a C3850 (just slightly slower for IoT uses).

Hmm from the intel specifications it's a server processor but a weird one? I found a board for it and it's labeled as a 'supermicro server board'  My guess is this is meant for small server solutions as from the intel specifications it has a fixed clock speed of 2.00ghz.

Digging a little deeper it seems to be a 'small server solution thing?'

Whatever it is meant for I don't think many people bought it!

My best guess it is has some dedicaded use for like small servers as it is being sold as an SOC and an amazon listing has it in a server chassie. The boards I found for it where weird having VGA and 2 usb 2 ports but a m.2 slot. Intels website says it supports up to 256gb of memory but most old listings for it are in 64gb configs. Boards for it also have a TON of sata 3 6gbps ports so that makes me think it has some use somwhere for storage servers. Its an interesting line of cpus thats for sure and the boards for it are even weirder.
