Other details: (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I just picked up a new 1080p 144hz Monitor (have two more on the way) I am going to school and starting a career in IT but I have been out of the gaming world for several years. I am married with kids so my going out time is behind me so time to get back to gaming! I have mostly played MMO games which this machine will do, but I want to play more graphically impressive games too. As I said I have a family so funds for fun are limited. So I thought I would see if any of my components are usable in the modern gaming world. Current OS is Linux Ubuntu 20.04 This started life as a windows 7 machine in 2011 or 2012 but it got to a point where it took 5 min or so to load. It runs pretty well on linux.
