Hi All,

Really hope somone can help. I have just built a new PC with the below configuration (All brand new parts). BUT it will not boot and need help. (QLED - BOOT & Q-Code - 02)

Case - Corsair Crystal 570X RGB Mirror Tempered Glass Premium Edition Case

Motherboard - Asus ROG STRIX X570 GAMING E AM4 Motherboard

CPU - AMD Ryzen 7 5800X

CPU Coller - Corsair H115i RGB Platinum Hydro Series 280mm

RAM - Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO Black 16GB 3600MHz AMD Ryzen Tuned DDR4 Memory Kit

M.2 Storage - 1TB SAMSUNG 980 PRO M.2

SSD Storage - Samsung 870 QVO SATA III 2.5 inch 1TB SSD

PSU - RM 850x Watt Fully Modular PSU

GPU - Sapphire Radeon RX 6800

The system powers up. Motherboard LED's are on, AIO fans and pump power up and GPU FAN spin up to speed. But nothing displayed on the monitor and never gone to BIOS.

Motherboard FAULT

QLED - BOOT

Q-Code - 02

Things I have tried!

1. BIOS has been Updated to latest Version (3402 plus previous versions with no difference)

2. CMOS has been reset several times.

3. Re-seated all power connections several times (GPU/CPU/MB&SATA for AIO)

4. Checked CPU pins for damage.

5. Checked all ports for obstructions.

6. Re-seated RAM many times.

7. Tried using one RAM stick in each slot with no change.

8. Tested PSU using Corsair instructions. (PSU fan stops as soon as the 02 error code appears)

It was installed into the case at first but when I was having the issues I removed and is now sitting on my side as a test bench. I have attached a picture of it and hoping I have missed something simple.

Hmm tough. My suspicsion is that the BIOS is on a version before 2606 (when Ryzen 5000 support was added) and that maybe you are missing a step while updating the BIOS?

Sorry No I have been doing this as stated in my start. Tried several versions including the latest and no joy.
