Trim and Raid 0 SSDs

Looking at getting a few more Evos for a raid 0 array in my rig but I was wondering if anyone running a Raid 0 array with samsung drives could tell me if samsungs features from their magician and migration software still work even in raid 0

Also, does trim work with a raid 0 array?

What RAID controller are you using? The intel onboard one has supported TRIM since the Z77 boards came out.

 

With modern SSDs you dont even need TRIM. They have their own garbage collection.

I was just going to use the on board controller on my Z77-UD3H. But I might look at a dedicated controller if I wanted more than 2 drives. I was looking at 2 250GB drives since if I recall Z77 sata controllers only have 2 sata 6gb/s ports.
