Rtx 3000 series + b250m

im planning to upgrade my rtx 2070 super to a rtx 3070 but i dont know if my motherboard supports the new rtx 3070 (motherboard: msi b250m bazooka) my friend said that the new card can not be applied on the motherboard

Your friend is wrong.

PCIe is forwards and backwards compatible, and a 3070 will work fine on your B250 board.
