Could I get help proving that using out of support OS is more insecure

Kanna

So I need an article or something to just prove that using an outdated OS is vulnerable and that there is dangers using outdated OS, He says naah they will just push an update like they did for win xp when wannacry was a major thing, lol no they won’t unless it’s that big of an issue

Reminder⚠️

I'm just speaking from experience so what I say may not work 100%

the fact that they are stopping security updates for older OS should be enough

Anything i've written between the * and * is not meant to be taken seriously.

keep in mind that helping with problems is hard if you aren't specific and detailed.

i'm also not a professional, (yet) so make sure to personally verify important information as i could be wrong.

Nope it isn’t lol he keeps saying “I’m good with older OS” being good / smart still doesn’t protect him from security issues that most likely won’t be patched only smart thing to do is being offline or update

Any number of sources can and will tell you the same thing in different words. Many of them can and will be dismissed as uninformed by somebody who wants to.
Here's one example:

Here's another:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-xp-support-has-ended-47b944b8-f4d3-82f2-9acc-21c79ee6ef5e

XP is EOL. Unless you're paying ungodly sums of money to keep it up-to-date, it's a security breach point. If someone doesn't want to believe that, no amount of convincing (even directly from the source - Microsoft) is going to persuade them from their stance.

his example with Wannacry is kind of stupid.

since they didn't roll out a bugfix  becasue he got it, but because enterprice level businesses got it and hospitals.

they're not gonna make a security update to fix the porn virus he accidentally downlaoded

The statements made here apply to any software that's EOL, not limited to Windows, nor an OS environment for that matter.

The statements made on MIcrosoft's EOL for Windows 7 is very nearly the same as XP: No further security updates.

But the problem is an updated OS might be 'more secure' it's still vulnerable though.

And can I get an article that proves that MICROSOFT themselves are a security issue due to their bundling of 'security' and 'feature' updates?
