To you. Maybe not to him. Maybe he just WANTS a $5500 PC because he CAN afford it.

Plus, I'm also from Pakistan and OP has a "realistic" budget for a high end pc since the markup on components here is so high, it really adds up. For example I just checked that the RTX 3080 retails for $699 in the States but converting the price at which it is being sold here in PKR to USD is $1400.

I'm not sure OP can even build a RTX 3090 rig in $5500, but good luck to him.

Budget (including currency): 5500$

Country: pakistan

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: fornite call of duty cyberbug 2069

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): wanna build a pc any parts recommendation?

$5500 USD? You don't need to spend that much for a PC to play Call of Duty, Cyberpunk, and Fortnite.

In your other posts you discussed having an i7 10700 and RTX 2070S. Are you planning on upgrading that system or are you looking to build a completely separate system?

CPU: Intel i7 6700k  | Motherboard: Gigabyte Z170x Gaming 5 | RAM: 2x16GB 3000MHz Corsair Vengeance LPX | GPU: Gigabyte Aorus GTX 1080ti | PSU: Corsair RM750x (2018) | Case: BeQuiet SilentBase 800 | Cooler: Arctic Freezer 34 eSports | SSD: Samsung 970 Evo 500GB + Samsung 840 500GB + Crucial MX500 2TB | Monitor: Acer Predator XB271HU + Samsung BX2450

People on this forum like to tell other people what they DON'T NEED.

@Spotty the first question should always be: what do you want your computer to do for you best? Followed up by: What is your budget?

@bilal.FN said he has a budget of $5500, so why not recommend the best possible PC at that budget?

its because hes playing esports titles and has a 10700 with a 2070 Super. Upgrading is a waste of money

Listen @Downkey I agree with you and get what you're trying to say, I really do. But sometimes people want to buy something just because they can and that's okay too. There's nothing wrong with buying an RTX 3090 and Ryzen 9 5950X to play light titles (if spending a lot of money doesn't bother you, of course).

Hey @BilalH. Even in the US RTX 3080's are going for ~$1200 IF you can even get one. MSRP's of most RTX 3080 have been raised as well - e.g. the listed MSRP for the ASUS Strix RTX 3080 is now $930, but good luck finding one at that price.

Here in Slovenia (EU) RTX 3080's are going for anywhere from 1100EUR to 1500EUR.

We feel your pain and trust me, you're not the only ones paying these type of prices 😞..
