GPU temp pretty high

In short; I have an R9 280, and it regularly heats up to 85c under load playing games like BeamNG, Warframe, Risk of Rain at high settings even though I have my side panel open. I know it's an R9 series GPU, but I'm not sure whether to worry or not. I'm also wondering if it will make a difference if I got a bigger case, since I'm getting one anyway.

85C is normal for an R9 280 or 280x/290/290x

they’re just kinda hot

 

More space and better airflow helps, maybe clean and repaste the card. But 85C under load is nothing to note for R9 200 series cards, my sapphire 280X toxic would regularly sit at 90-95c under load in a cramped case and never had any issues doing so, some cards are just hot.
