Lianli O11D Mini one of the front usb ports is not working

Hello! I'm faced with an issue where only one of two usb front panel ports is working.  In the picture below, the one circled in red isn't recognizing any usb device that I plug in to it. Otherwise the second one next to it does work. I'm wondering if anyone knows if it's an issue with the case or the motherboard. Thanks!

Do they have separate plugs? If so, swap them around on the motherboard and see. If not it'd be the case most likely...

Hey, thanks for the reply. I had a look and it seems like it's a single cable that splits in to two ports. I tried re-seating the cable and it didn't make a difference. Here's an image. So is the conclusion that the case has a defective front usb port/cable?

I would probably say yes, its defective front case port/cable then then.
