Cpu and its compatible memory speed confused

Go to solution Solved by Helpful Tech Witch,

On a h or b (Intel) series chipset, the cpu memory support will be what you can run at.

Budget (including currency): NA

Country: Australia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: NA

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): So pretty much I was going to buy The intel core Intel core i3 9100f cpu for my build https://au.pcpartpicker.com/user/CustomPcbuilder321/saved/#view=ZbPtnQ   (which will be for me to late sell) and then I am getting the

Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 CL15 Memory

aswell, yet I checked the cpu page and said it supports memory of DDR4 2400 mhz yet I am getting 3200mhz So do I have to change the ram?
