I'm pretty sure I bit off more than I can chew! I've never built my own computer and purchased the following components:

Asus Rog Maximus Xii Hero Motherboard

Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB 2.5 Inch SATA III

Corsair Vengeance 16gb RAM (already installed)

RM750x power supply

Coolermaster TD500 case

Intel CPU (already installed)

Kraken x63 cooler (already installed)

So while the cooler is installed, the cables are not. I have swapped out components before so I assumed this would be easy to build. NOT SO! I can't figure out where things go. It should be easy to figure out. However, I don't see a place to put the SSD and just read that the motherboard is actually ready for the NVMe but I didn't purchase that and would prefer to wait to spend more money. I purchased these components so that I could upgrade easily later. If I need to purchase the other storage instead, I will - just prefer to use what I have. Can someone please help me figure out how I put this together? I have looked at videos and don't see where the SSD would go at all.

Thanks!

Looking at the front of the case, take off the RH side panel; there are SSD attachment points 'behind the motherboard'.

... those; you attach the drive(s) before you put the motherboard in.

EDIT:

By behind the motherboard, I mean on the other side of the panel the motherboard attaches to.

Current PC spec. in my profile.
Can I realistically call myself a gamer, if I only play ONE, twenty year old game...?

Did you test boot it, before you built in into the case?

WHY NOT...?!
