My mom has a sd card she had most of her pictures on but my brother needed it so he deleted then it turns out he did not need it so is there any way to restore everything that was on it or am I out of luck.

That will be tough, since it is flash storage. Give Recuva a try, and see if it will work or not (it's from Piriform).

ZAR worked for me when I had an SD card corrupted. Got every picture off it except 1 or 2 . I've never tried recuva but it should work too.

I guess there is a lesson to be learnt here. Don't store files on SD cards. At the end of the day, copy pictures to a computer and empty the card. If it doesn't get wiped by someone else, it will probably just die on its own like they tend to do.
