What resolution do you want? And do you want high refresh rates or good image quality?

I am not sure but does high refresh rate make that big of a differnce because I don't play many FPS so probably image quality

$200 will get you a decent 1080p panel, honestly just save a little while longer and get a g-sync monitor in the near future...no point in upgrading from a 1600x900 to a 1920x1080 panel. What kind of graphics card are you running? Are you a gamer? What resolution do you really want? All things to consider before just dropping 200 bucks on a 1080p. As for refresh rate, honestly, its not going to matter all that much, as you don't play FPS very often...60hz will be just fine :)

If you must upgrade now, I'd say find a decent IPS or VA panel if you can at 1080p, I'm not really sure how far $200 will get you in terms of finding something above 1080p though.

I have a prebuilt dell(please don't judge) that I tossed a 750ti SC in. I mostly play mobas and a few rts and I can wait a while for upgrading and save up if that will get me a better monitor.
