Does my monitor support 8-bit color?

Monitor- https://www.acer.com/ac/en/SG/content/model/UM.JE0SG.P01

says color supported 16.7 million.. Isn't that 8 bit? When i try to set it to 8 bit it just black screens and resets back to 6 bit.
