Discord link not working?

Tried to join the discord but it just kinda... doesn't work. Anyone else having trouble?

From what we have heard, the server has bit too many people to handle already. More people makes moderation harder. Also they have had issues with bots, spam and raiding.

 

At the moment on server:

• LMG Staff: 6
• Bots: 1
• Mod: 2
• Industry Affiliate: 6
• Floatplane Pilot 1199
• Twitch Sub: 21
• Regular: 20500

Also looks like the audio channels have been removed at some point of time. I don't really do other than idle there, so I don't know when that has happened.

You hit the nail on the head... I believe solutions are being explored to help combat things, but many a Discord Guild are waiting on Discord themselves to rollout additional tools to handle the mass influx of bots and other such "fake" or "sleeper" users that have been hitting guilds on/off since the pandemic started.
