So I’m currently working really hard to save up money to buy parts to make a pc. I wanted to go somewhere around the 1000-1500 dollar range but I just can’t seem to find the best parts for me. The build that’s closest to my range and gaming performance is an i7 9700k, 1660 ti (cos gpu’s are dead rn), cooler master hyper 212, asus prime z390, 16 gbs of g skill trident z rgb ram, Samsung 970 evo nvme m.2 ssd, h510 elite, and finally an EVGA bq 600w psu. Mind you I currently have 400 dollars and I’m really getting impatient LOL. If anyone can help me find a better system please and thank you.

And btw when I say dead for the gpu part I mean like they’re out everywhere so it’s gonna be temporary until I can get my hands on a 2060 super or a 2070 super idk.

Don't buy a GPU right now, buy everything else and wait for the 3000 series to go down to normal prices

Well don't overpay for a GPU whatever you do. I would try and get a 1660 or similar for MSRP and then you can sell it later if 30 series ever become viable options

I’m really desperate for a decent system tho and btw did I forget to mention that I’m 11 and this is my first build? Don’t worry I’ve been researching. Like a lot but if you know kids then you would know a thing or 2 ab their patience LOL but I’m starting to think that when I get enough money to build my pc that the 30 series cards are gonna become normal again. Also, 3070 or 3060ti?

Lol, You sound like me a couple years ago...Don't be impatient rather wait it out I bought a Gtx 750 ti when the prices where crazy but then the prices of GPUs died down a month later and with the same amount of money I could of got a Gtx 1050 ti.

So I feel like, at this point maybe I should just wait?

heres a parts list for you. some parts are out of stock so i suggest waiting for pricing to normalize. i understand you are desperate etc but the system will be that much sweeter when its done. you can buy the parts bit by bit as long as you get them for a reasonable pricing.

I- bro thanks. For my original build I was gonna go with a 3060ti after all the prices calm down a bit. Thanks bro. But the only thing I’m not sure ab is the cpu. Here’s the thing, I’m not a big ryzen guy and would prefer intel just because I’ve had more experience but pricewise? Maybe. Thanks for the help tho. I’ll see.

im a intel guy as well i am running a 10850k which i just built this pc still waiting for a rtx3080 to install using a old gtx680.

for a intel system i would still recommend waiting but i would suggest this list. unless 11th gen is readily available when you go to buy i doubt it as they havnt released a 11700k yet

Lol. When I was 11 GPUs had yet to be invented 🤣. Realistically getting a 30 series card in 2021 is gonna be very challenging. A 3060Ti is gonna be closer to you budget than a 3070 assuming that MSRP prices are seen at some point. If you are really impatient then you are going to have to buy second hand.  A 1080 non-Ti is the best I can see on Ebay for around your budget. I don't recommend it as you are getting worse performance than you should for that money with a 3060Ti but if it has to be now rather than 6 or 9 months time then that looks like your best bet.

Btw I’m also not gonna heavily game probably just some video rendering and graphics design. I might play some games here and there so yeah

you won't notice a difference once you've put everything together except performance, the only difference is mounting, really, but it's just as simple as with intel.

I reccomend the first build leonardmartin suggested, except changing out the motherboard for a b550 auros pro, If you wanted to save a buck you could even change out the CPU cooler for a hyper 212.

AMD blackout rig

cpu: ryzen 5 3600 @4.4ghz @1.35v

gpu: rx5700xt 2200mhz

ram: vengeance lpx c15 3200mhz

mobo: gigabyte b550 auros pro

psu: cooler master mwe 650w

case: masterbox mbx520

fans:Noctua industrial 3000rpm x6
