Gaming: fortnite, COD, Watchdogs, Ark and wanna get into more but can't currently try them

I currently have a laptop for all of my industrial design programs and I've filled the storage with them so can't do any gaming. It also struggles to run the design programs to a high capability. Wanna keep it for the portable ability but wanna get my second ever PC build (the first one being not much bigger than my hand) but struggling with all the different options. Thinking of getting a workstation but wanna make sure it has the gaming capabilities I want from it. Also would love a unique cool boss looking case for the PC in Black and/or Flame colour.
