1600AF is not first gen Ryzen. It is quite similar to the R5 2600. B550 doesn't officially support anything older than Ryzen 3000, that's correct, however, many have reported that Ryzen 2000 processors are working just fine with many B550 boards out there. Considering that the op is from the Netherlands he can always leverage his 14-day return rights and try it out. Why settle for a B450 board when B550 is generally much better.

Therefore, to the OP, if you want to ensure 100% compatibility with the 1600AF, perhaps the B450 Aorus Elite or the Strix-F could be a decent choice. If you want to try your luck with a B550 board, go with the B550 Gaming-X.
