scaling with workstations

I have seen a few topics where people said to not to get a fourth card for workstations because four way sli sucks. when doing workstation work, a fourth graphics card will give a significant performance boost. Not all programs can utilize 4 way sli, but the ones that can will get a 4/3 boost.

If you can use the 4 way sli,you know it, you probably have it or are planning to get it in the near future..

The thing is that there was a topic yesterday asking if he should get a forth 780 ti for his workstation, and almost everybody said no, four way sli scales badly and sometimes makes it worse.

Well if its for workstation work, it should scale well... Sli only means transfering some info between the cards. If you just have them work on their own thing, they will sale perfectly
