eGPU's and Asus Geforce RTX-3090

Mikeamiller

I just got my new Asus Geforce rtx 3090 GPU and also bought a Razer X Chroma.  I notice that the gpu has a 3 x 8pin connector on the top...but the egpu case only comes with 2 x 8pin connectors from the Power Supply.  Can I use this? or do I need a new / different case?

I think you're out of luck here. I don't know any eGPU cases that have 3x 8-pin power connectors. So unfortunately I'm afraid that the solution may be to buy a 3090 that features only two 8-pin connectors.

Either change a 750w power supply instead of an original RAZER power supply,
Either change the RTX 3090 graphics card with two 8pin pins ...
Best regards
