Possible to buy keys on Origin to be used on another account ?

Hi all,

 

Everything is in the title. I have no experience with that platform yet and was wondering if that was possible, like on Steam for instance. Can I buy a key on Origin and give it to someone else who will of course use a different account ?

IIRC, you can buy gift codes.

You cannot buy gift keys or games for friends on Origin. But you can buy Origin keys at other websites like Kinguin and such.

Once bought a game for my friend on Origin, but he had to give me his login for me to buy the game (buying it with his account).

I read contradicting posts... Is it possible to buy gifts through Origin, like on Steam, or only through other websites, like Unlocker mentiones ?

I agree, Origin definitely needs to add some kind of gifting system, like on Steam.

You need to buy keys from third party vendors like Green man gaming.
