Watercooling Setup Help

NTDaws

Sup fellas,

Planning to do my first hard line watercooling build. Id like some help to design one if possible.

Currently I have a i5 10500f but will be upgraded to next gen i9 down the road.

I will not be watercooling the gpu since I prefer the normal gpu shroud over any others I've researched.

I will need to know what tools I need to cut and deburr the pipes.

I will likely use Clear Acrylic tubing, I will not be bending it because I would like to use 90° adapters to do a full 90° angle. Just ads to the look, preferably nickel plated fittings and adapters.

I would like to use a reservoir designed for the lian li O11D-XL White, Der Bauer edition.

And I'll need a pump of course.

Would like to use EK parts aside from the reservoir and pump.

All in all I'm just watercooling the CPU.

Thanks!

Edit: I will be watercooling the GPU just not till end of the year.

  1. I'd suggest glass if you're not bending, it looks better and is stronger (and IMO easier to cut)
  2. There are many distro plates for the O11 series cases that integrate the reservoir and pump (e.g. https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-quantum-reflection-pc-o11d-xl-d5-pwm-d-rgb-plexi). this is just an example, other vendors make similar products (bitspower, bykski, barrow are good places to look)
  3. why EK? They're so expensive. if you're patient, aliexpress can save you a lot of cash, and if you know the good vendors (or ask your good pal tarfeef101) you can get very good quality stuff. if you want stuff faster, you can buy from dazmode (since you're in canada). they offer tons of brands, including their in-house brands which have done me well in many builds. and again, are typically cheaper than EK.

Server: R7 1700X @ 4.0 GHz, GTX 1080 Ti, 32GB DDR4 3000, Cooler Master NR200P, Full Soft Watercooling

LAN Rig: R5 3600X @ PBO, RTX 2070, 32 GB DDR4 3200, Dan Case A4-SFV V4, 120mm AIO for the CPU

HTPC: i7-7700K @ 4.6 GHz, GTX 1050 Ti, 16 GB DDR4 3200, AliExpress K39, IS-47K Cooler

Router: R3 2200G @ stock, 4GB DDR4 2400, what are cases, stock cooler

I don't have a problem...
