I see AI as a tool to help develop the world around us, I believe one day AI would be able to engineer, design, manufacture a product based on the description of it, and that includes CPU and GPU development, imagine if the AI could optimize an architecture beyond what is humanly possible and for a small amount of money as it won't require the huge amount of R&D that comes with employing humans, except of course the initial design of the AI.

 

That extends to all human-made products seen around us, it can be a massive accelerator for R&D, and therefore products would get cheaper (hopefully) because of it.

 

Or one day it would be able to solve Fusion Power if humans weren't able to successfully to do that in the somewhat near future

Also when I mention AI, I don't mean humanoids or anything resembling that, I mean it as a software tool, like GPT3 as an example, It's a language model but it has picked up various skills from the amount of data that it was trained on, it's quite impressive.

Yea it has a lot of potential and ai could in theory develop ai i guess. Im learning psychology and trying to understand. How do u predict the reality use in the next years? Do u think developers start to use developing tools and decrease their own abilty to develope? Skills are for me interacting, if we use tools for our intelligence how will it effect our own potential for exploring and imaging? Thank you for ur view and would like to read more peoples insights 😄

Also would be great if reviewers talk about artificial intelligence so the mainstream of people arent suprised and without knowledge what it is, honest informations like in many reviews over this decade helped a lot to understand PCs and so it is helpful for AI too.

There's machine learning, which has been around since the 60s, and deep learning which is relatively new.  People think AI is going to take over the world but it's really not going to.

That extends to all human-made products seen around us, it can be a massive accelerator for R&D, and therefore products would get cheaper (hopefully) because of it.

 

Or one day it would be able to solve Fusion Power if humans weren't able to successfully to do that in the somewhat near future
