need gpu reccomendation

im building a new pc for my friend 

i was planning on using a ryzen5 3600 but im not to familiar with the current gpu situation what would be a balanced choice iwas thinking a 1660 ti but im not sure

Good luck finding it in stock.
I would just wait for the 3050 and 3050ti.
What is his budget for a pc also?

i would use something like this except the cpu because a ryzen 5 is very good.

You would be lucky to find any card that would be worthy. If you were looking at a  1660ti I would wait for a 3060 as it will be massively faster for little more money  but stock issues will mean you will likely not be able to get one until the summer.
