so yesterday, I installed a few windows updates and shut down my pc for the night. everything was working before that

this morning, I booted up my pc, and nothing will work. Windows Live Movie Maker, windows media player, iTunes, Steam, nothing. well, theres a few exceptions, Blender, chrome, and File  Explorer are working, but none of those other programs will run. in the case of iTunes, i double click the taskbar shortcut, and nothing happens. for steam, windows media player, and movie maker, i open them, and they immediately crash and say "this program has stopped working". Ive tried restarting several times, and that has done nothing. i really just dont understand why this is happening.

is anyone else having these kind of problems? could it be a problem with the most recent windows update? im running windows 7 home premium 64-bit btw.

any help would be much appreciated

this thought just occured to me, it could be a problem with my grpahics drivers, thos were updated in the windows update as well, and since the problems im having involve the gpu, its possible the drivers are outdated or something. ill try re-installing from the AMD website
