I just purchased a 34" 3440x1440 monitor capable of 100Hz refresh rate. I'm using an RX5700 XT with the latest drivers and Win 10 version 20H2. I'm unable to set the refresh rate to anything other than 60Hz. I checked the monitor and it detects that its running at 60Hz. Its using DP 1.2. I have no idea why windows doesn't give me the ability to increase the refresh rate. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Can you change the refresh rate in the AMD drivers? I'm not so sure on how to do this since I don't own a AMD card in a Windows system (a Mac I do!!). If the output settings to the monitor don't give 3440x1440 at 100Hz, you may have to create a custom resolution in the drivers.

No, in Radeon Adrenalin.

I was unable to adjust the refresh rate in it, I can create custom resolutions in Adrenalin but I've never tried it. Worth a shot I guess.

This should work. Your graphics card has DP 1.4 and your monitor is 1.2 so it will just run at 1.2 which is perfectly fine for your monitor and its resolution/refresh rate.

I was able to create the custom profile but I don't see the option to select it in the windows display settings. I'm pretty sure it just creates a profile for windows to use.
